BEAUTY ARRIVES WHEN LEAST EXPECTED
THE INNER SEA

SYNOPSIS
The Inner Sea is an unconventional love story–a story about music, adoption, the journey of a lifetime, and a bright blue 40-foot school bus. Directed and produced by a first-time female filmmaker who is also a birth mother, this film explores the complex issues of identity that result from the decision to place a child for adoption. It is also a film that explores the role that art plays in suffering, and healing.

REVIEWS
“A gorgeously shot film…adoption, being reunited, acts of love, forgiving oneself. Really important things to say in a film which was also shot so beautifully.”
Door County Film Festival
"Really beautiful...masterfully woven. A restraint that surfaces with the ache of an artist, and the control required to not be in control."
Dr. James DeMasi, Director of Beatrice Institute
